same thing and it didn't seem like the personal styles of the bride and groom were coming through in the photos we were seeing. When we found Jessica- we knew we had somehow stumbled upon someone with a unique vision that suited what we were looking for on our wedding day! We initially did not plan on doing engagement photos, but we are so happy we took Jessica's lead on that, as it helped us get much more comfortable in front of the camera before our special day (not to mention the fact that we love having those photos hanging in our home)! For both our engagements and our wedding, Jessica used film and digital photography, and we couldn't be more impressed with the way she captured our most special day. It was important to us that at our very small ceremony, the guests not be distracted by the photographer- at so many weddings, my husband and I found that the view of the ceremony and other special moments were blocked by the person taking photos...I didn't even know Jessica was there during our ceremony, dinner, speeches, etc. She blended into the background so quietly and effortlessly, but still captured each moment so perfectly. When it was time for her to take portraits of my husband and I, or our families and guests, she had a knack for making us feel at ease. Her portraits of our guests so accurately depict their personalities and spirits that we love looking through them. Some of the photos of our wedding day are more artistic and creative, while others are natural and candid... and some are dramatic and intriguing, but they all share an underlying style that is unique to Jessica's work. All of them represent our wedding day in a manner that matches our golden memories of the best day of our lives. We will forever be grateful that we found Jessica as our wedding photographer!

When I first spoke to her, I felt an instant connection with her; it felt like I was speaking with an old friend. She’s super kind, very professional and a pleasure to work with. Planning weddings can be daunting but the whole process with her from start to finish was very smooth and stress free. She captured every emotion on my special day with perfection. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. I would use her to photograph all my special occasions. I highly recommend her!

ose between outfits. My favorite part was when she helped guide me on my posing. I'm not very comfortable in front of a camera, so Jessica had her work cut out for her. She made me feel beautiful and I was confident that my special moments would be captured and that I would be proud to display them.

She was able to capture our playful moments with friends and family, identified incredible photo-worthy backgrounds and adeptly maneuvered herself (and likely us unknowingly) to exploit those views. Julie and I are extremely happy with Jessica's work or maybe more aptly described as her art. Gorgeous full color moments, beautiful black and whites, and playful usage of shutter speeds and color for our club adventure afterparty... just perfect for us.

Aside from taking great photos of our ceremony and guests, she found the coolest places at our venue to get more stylistic shots. My husband and I and our families were all thrilled with the images. I highly recommend her for your big day.

and a dream to work with, she wants to photograph you from all the best angles and in the way you feel most comfortable. I thought I’d be picking the photos of me apart, but I felt really relaxed and beautiful during the shots and I can see that when I look at the photos. Jessica really captured the sweetness of the day, as well as the rambunctiousness of the reception. Everything from the guests to the venue and details was shot in the best light and takes us back to the moment every time!

She sees beauty in the most unique things, and captures it effortlessly. She is great at making you feel relaxed, and keeps the mood fun. The result of this and her fantastic editing skills, are timeless photos that are treasured forever.
